Hikvision systems are the only brand we will supply. We can install others, but speaking from experience, it usually leaves the customer disappointed. You can pick up a complete CCTV system online for under £300, but is it really reliable? If you're looking to protect a vehicle outside of your property, you're going to need to be able to see what's going on in the dark right? What these cheaper kits don't inform you of, is that you'll more than likely end up with an unusable recording. As you can see, the writing on our van is unreadable - even in the middle of the day with a Swann Kit.
The night time images were both taken around 1am. The only lighting outside is a street light. You can clearly make out the van writing, even in complete darkness. They provide full colour images, even in total darkness.
With these systems, no monitor is needed. They all come with an app for iPhone / iPad / Android users. You can check your system / view recordings 24/7 from anywhere in the world.
We know it can be an expensive set up, and it's hard to part with the money without actually seeing it working. That's why we've fitted a top of the range system on our property that you can see working & have a go on the app.
